What’s your name?
Jacqueline Simpson (but you can call me Jack)
What’s your full time job?
I am the Regional Marketing Lead for the NYC Sales Team at Herman Miller
What’s your role within TFCA?
I am a Graphic Designer for Special Events
Where are you from originally and where do you live now?
I grew up in Cortlandt Manor, NY and currently reside in Manhattan.
How did you get involved with TFCA?
I was introduced to TFCA through my coworker and dear friend, Tracy Nagel. She initially reached out to me for some design help when she was working to recruit Herman Miller as a sponsor for the organization. From that point on I have been assisting in any marketing material pertaining to special events.
You’ve been an incredibly dedicated volunteer since the beginning. What about TFCA’s mission has kept you so closely involved?
I love that The Fund for College Auditions advocates for young talented adults pursuing a career in musical theater and for their unwavering support of those who are diverse, neurodiverse and/or part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Everyone deserves a chance at their dream, and TFCA enables this.
What’s your favorite memory or moment with TFCA?
I have had a lot of memorable moments, but the one that takes the cake was hearing one of the scholars perform recently for one of our Virtual Concerts.
What’s one fun fact we wouldn’t know from your online presence?
If I was granted one wish it would be to wake up with a beautiful voice.
